“Schools and colleges and their staff are an important part of the wider safeguarding system for children. This system is described in the statutory guidance Working Together to Safeguard Children.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all practitioners should make sure their approach is child centred. This means that they should consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.”

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety, and the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development, of children and young people;
Promoting equality of opportunity and community cohesion where the diversity of different backgrounds and circumstances is appreciated and positively valued;
The fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance for those with different faiths and beliefs, and expects all staff, volunteers, and other workers to share this commitment.
The Child Protection Policy, which can be found on our policies page, is for all staff, home settings, members of the board, volunteers, and the wider foundation community. It forms part of the safeguarding arrangements for the foundation.
All staff receive frequent Child Protection and Safeguarding update training and are aware of the procedures for passing on concerns within the foundation.
Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child or young person’s welfare.
