Head of Foundation
Luke is our Head of Foundation and takes overall responsibility for the strategic leadership and direction of the Foundation. His role focuses on whole-school planning, development, and ensuring the highest standards of provision across academic, therapeutic, and physical pathways. Luke works closely with staff at every level to shape and deliver a cohesive and ambitious vision for the Foundation, ensuring that all students are supported to achieve their potential and thrive. With extensive experience in educational leadership in Further Education and secondary schools, he brings a forward-thinking and creative approach to strategic planning and school development. Outside of work, Luke is a regular on the local improvised comedy circuit, using these skills to engage others, foster confidence, and encourage collaboration and creative thinking.

Billy is our Deputy Head of Foundation. He has worked in educational settings for over twenty years, much of which has been spent in various Special Educational Needs provisions. Billy is responsible for managing the school’s special education resources, maintaining records of student progress, and advocating for the rights of students with SEN. Billy ensures the student’s EHCPs are reviewed and remain relevant in order to best meet the needs of our students. Billy also leads on curriculum and assessment; reviewing the current strategy and processes at Omnia, helping to shape the future of our foundation.
Elizabeth Beal

Head of Therapeutic Provision
Liz is the foundation’s Head of Therapeutic Provision. She has studied at the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies at the University of Essex and the Tavistock Clinic, London and has a range of psychoanalytical tools at her disposal which she can apply to individuals, relationships and organisations. Liz leads the Emotional Wellbeing Team and has strategic responsibility for designing, planning and supporting the delivery of all the wellbeing interventions for students. As part of her strategic role, she participates in home visits and liaises with services to support students who may struggle to access on-site provision for any reason. Liz is highly skilled and shares with staff her knowledge and understanding of others, how to relate to them, modelling a range of strategies for managing the students’ emotional wellbeing.

Ben has a strong background in the physical education sector, having worked across both mainstream schools delivering the national P.E. curriculum and in SEND settings where he created a bespoke curriculum tailored to individual needs. He believes that recognising and responding to each student as an individual enables them to thrive. As Head of Physical Provision, Ben oversees all aspects of physical provision for our students, ensuring their physical needs are met both within and beyond the classroom. He is responsible for planning, coordinating, and adapting physical support and activities that promote engagement, wellbeing, and independence. Through this work, Ben aims to help every student build confidence in their abilities, develop essential life skills, and access opportunities that allow them to succeed.
