Future Possibilities

Understanding Post-16 Pathways at Omnia Foundation

At Omnia Foundation, our aim is to help every student move confidently into life after Year 11. As an SEN/SEMH independent special school, we recognise that traditional GCSE pathways are not always the best fit. Instead, students work towards vocational and functional skill qualifications.

We ensure we align with the Gatsby Benchmarks to ensure students receive high-quality careers guidance, real-world experiences, and personalised planning for their next steps.

Students’ achievements are recognised through vocational qualifications with Transcend Awards and the AQA Unit Award Scheme, where each completed unit earns a certificate. This builds a personal portfolio celebrating progress, effort, and skills, supporting applications for college, training, or future employment.

The work and dedication of the staff at Omnia have for SEN children is incredible. I honestly never imagined my child, after Year 11, would attend a mainstream college and enjoy it. I cannot tell you enough how you changed my son’s life and gave him his spark back. I will be eternally grateful.
