Ian Budge
Chief Executive Officer
Ian has worked in education since 2003, building a career across further education and, more recently, specialist SEND education. Over the past two decades he has held a range of senior leadership roles, leading organisations through growth, change and improvement, with a focus on creating environments where young people and staff can flourish.
As Chief Executive Officer of Omnia Foundation, Ian leads the organisation’s strategic direction, driving sustainable growth while ensuring the Foundation remains focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for its pupils. Ian’s leadership style is collaborative, approachable and grounded in common sense. He values strong relationships, open communication and believes the best outcomes are achieved by working together.
Alongside his executive responsibilities, Ian continues to serve as a school governor, having held a number of governance roles throughout his career. He also served as a Magistrate, strengthening his understanding of governance, safeguarding, accountability and public service.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, paddleboarding, travelling and cooking. Having discovered skiing in his forties, he believes it’s never too late to learn something new – a mindset that continues to shape both his personal life and his approach to leadership.

Luke is our Head of Foundation and takes overall responsibility for the strategic leadership and direction of the Foundation. His role focuses on whole-school planning, development, and ensuring the highest standards of provision across academic, therapeutic, and physical pathways. Luke works closely with staff at every level to shape and deliver a cohesive and ambitious vision for the Foundation, ensuring that all students are supported to achieve their potential and thrive. With extensive experience in educational leadership in Further Education and secondary schools, he brings a forward-thinking and creative approach to strategic planning and school development. Outside of work, Luke is a regular on the local improvised comedy circuit, using these skills to engage others, foster confidence, and encourage collaboration and creative thinking.

Billy is our Deputy Headteacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), bringing over 20 years of experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). He has worked across a range of specialist educational settings, developing extensive expertise in supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism, learning difficulties and additional needs.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Billy provides strategic leadership for inclusion and leads the school’s SEND provision. He oversees statutory processes, including Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and works closely with families, local authorities and external professionals to secure positive outcomes for pupils.
As Deputy Headteacher, Billy also plays a key role in driving school improvement, supporting staff development and promoting high standards of teaching and learning. He is passionate about creating an environment where every pupil feels valued, understood and able to thrive both academically and personally.

Liz is the foundation’s Head of Therapeutic Provision. She has studied at the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies at the University of Essex and the Tavistock Clinic, London and has a range of psychoanalytical tools at her disposal which she can apply to individuals, relationships and organisations. Liz leads the Emotional Wellbeing Team and has strategic responsibility for designing, planning and supporting the delivery of all the wellbeing interventions for students. As part of her strategic role, she participates in home visits and liaises with services to support students who may struggle to access on-site provision for any reason. Liz is highly skilled and shares with staff her knowledge and understanding of others, how to relate to them, modelling a range of strategies for managing the students’ emotional wellbeing.

Ben has a strong background in the physical education sector, having worked across both mainstream schools delivering the national P.E. curriculum and in SEND settings where he created a bespoke curriculum tailored to individual needs. He believes that recognising and responding to each student as an individual enables them to thrive. As Head of Physical Provision, Ben oversees all aspects of physical provision for our students, ensuring their physical needs are met both within and beyond the classroom. He is responsible for planning, coordinating, and adapting physical support and activities that promote engagement, wellbeing, and independence. Through this work, Ben aims to help every student build confidence in their abilities, develop essential life skills, and access opportunities that allow them to succeed.

Hayley Taylor
Head of Curriculum and Quality
Hayley is our Head of Curriculum and Quality, having previously spent five years at Omnia as a SEN Teacher and Advanced Practitioner. She is an experienced educator and has worked across secondary and Further Education settings since 2004.
Hayley brings extensive expertise in curriculum development, with a particular focus on adapting and enhancing learning to meet the diverse needs of learners. Her innovative approach and commitment to inclusive practice have been recognised with a National STAR Award.
As Head of Curriculum and Quality, Hayley leads on curriculum development and quality across the Foundation, supporting and guiding teaching staff while ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.
Outside of work, Hayley has a passion for space. While living in Birmingham, she was selected as a ‘Space Teacher’, leading and developing the ‘Space in Schools’ initiative. She also enjoys walking her dog, watching films and television, and playing board games.
