The support team work tirelessly to ensure that the material needs of the students are met. Each has a specific remit in terms of keeping the students safe.
Sheri Powell
Student Support Officer
As Student Support Officer, Sheri is the first point of contact with the foundation. She is responsible for all matters relating to attendance and she monitors and evaluates services such as transport that may make it difficult for students to attend. She keeps and maintains registers for fire safety.
Laurie Carter
Head of Occupational Health & Safety
Laurie, Head of Occupational Health & Safety is responsible for overseeing workplace safety and health standards across an organisation. He develops, implements, and manages safety policies to ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry best practices. Laurie’s duties include conducting risk assessments, managing safety training programmes, investigating accidents and promoting a safe working environment to minimise hazards and prevent injuries. Laurie also collaborates with management to address safety concerns and continuously improve health and safety performance.
Jamie Reynolds
Facilities Coordinator
Jamie is the Facilities Coordinator, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure that the site is both safe and secure. Jamie manages various aspects of the facility, such as coordinating maintenance and repairs, overseeing security measures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Jamie works closely with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to maintain a well-functioning environment, addressing any issues promptly to minimise disruptions and create a safe, efficient space for all employees and visitors.
